Bleh
God I'm bored.
Seriously.
Though these shadows in my eyes aren't helping.
My sleeplessness has been extending into my day to day life too. Been getting increadingly tired when I wake up, and every now and I feel like my body's been doing things while I've been sleeping.
NO NOT THOSE KIND OF THINGS
Anyway, point of the matter is-
Waitaminute, something's tapping on my window, waaaay back in my room while I'm here in the living room. Might be a bird or something. I'm four floors up, you-know-who couldn't possibly be there.
I'll be back in a minute.

School Life
Ugh, school. Not really a nice topic to be talking about, but here I go anyway.
Well, so to better inform the global public about Singapore's schooling system, I shall go into detail on what I'm going through currently.
Every kid that's born in Singapore first goes through kindergarten, just so that they can get basic life skills and education. After that its primary school. Primary school is kinda like grade school in America, where kids from ages 7 to 13 go to school, they learn, play, make friends and stuff. Generally to get into the groove of school life. At the end of the sixth year, we go through a set of exams called the PSLE, or the Primary School Leaving Examinations. These are a set of exams that basically test us to see if we're ready to leave. Our results from this will determine the academic stream into which you will be going into in the next level.
After that, secondary school. Kinda like high school. Here, the teens go through four more years of more advanced studies, and at the end of the four years we sit for a set of exams called O Levels. No idea why they're called that. But the O Levels are basically a series of really, really important exams that can and will determine where we go after secondary school. A bit more in depth into the secondary school system, is that students are also broken up into three different streams: Express, Normal Academic and Normal Technical. The Express stream is for the majority of the primary school students. Normal Acad is for the students that fared slightly worse in their PSLE. Normal Tech is for those that did poorly in PSLE.
After secondary school is tertiary education, in the form of two different types of tertiary institutions: junior college (JC) and polytechnic. These tertiary places are places of further study. JC is simple enough: two more years of studies similar to secondary school, only even harder. Students study here for the two years then graduates. The other side is polytechnic, where students actually study life skills like nursing or animation or programming. They choose a diploma course and then study in the course for three years. After that, they graduate.
After that, well, its two compulsory years of serving in the army for the guys. The girls get it easier, no army for them. xD

Holidays
So yeah, I've been on holiday for two weeks, catching up on sleep and games. Got two late birthday gifts, in the form of Max Payne 3 and Alice: Madness Returns. Two great games from two great friends.
Haven't had the chance to play Max Payne 3, but I did manage to play through Alice. And I have to say: I loved it. After watching a Let's Play of the first game, American McGee's Alice?, I also looked at some videos of Madness Returns. Loved it, been wanting to get it ever since.
I played it over two days, completed it with little difficulty. Loved the art direction, the way the story is told, the picturebook-like cutscenes, even the gameplay.
My holiday was otherwise normal, if by normal you mean still plagued with shadowy visions, loss of sleep and periodic coughing, then yes, my holiday's been normal. I know he's still stalking me, though how far or close by he is, is still a mystery to me. The Nightlanders, confident in naming them now, have been appearing in my vision more now. Perhaps they're warning me of something? Or perhaps their presence is a sign of my continued descent into madness. I'll never know. Such Eldritch things are above me, impossible for mortals to understand.

Its June now
YOU DON'T SAY KEBDOABWFLEPWBSKJA-
*ahem*
Anyways, June is here. In a few weeks, I'll be going for surgery to remove an impacted wisdom tooth. The first of three.
I'm getting alone just fine. And by just fine, I mean thingd are getting worse.
Excuse my spelling mistakes, I have an iPod Touch. And my fat, Asian thumbs + small iPod Touch keyboard = spelling mistakes galore. I realise I've been making a lot in my previous posts, but I don't really bother. People still understand myi posts, right?
Anyways, elaboration: my sleepless nights have returned, speak of the devil. I've been getting stronger and stronger feelings of being watched, and sometimes I catch some shadows that move for a SECOND, before stopping. I've been getting increasingly paranoid, though nothing serious yet. My memory's also been getting poorer, don't know why. I've been forgetting little things like the songs I put into my music player, the homework I'm supposed to do, even things like the day of the week, and the current month.
I'm scared. I really am. I hope nothing else happens and you-know-who loses interest in me.

le Sigh
Really now? Everything's gone quiet. I've been sleeping nice and well these past few days. What's going on? I hope this lasts, then I can finally rest easy.
Then again... I did have this weird dream yesterday. I didn't put much thought in it, but I do remember some details about it. So here goes.
Mmm... I remember it was...set in WWII. I remember distinctly that, in the dream, I wasn't me. I was in someone else's shoes, like a video game. I was...either British or American, I couldn't tell, but I remember that I was Caucasian in my dream. Hehe, an Asian dreaming that he's white, go figure. x3
I had an M1 Garand with a sniper scope and a Thompson submachine gun. I remember it was set in these...ruins. Bombed out ruins of a town, places on fire. Gunfire, explosions everywhere. Planes flying overhead, people yelling and screaming, bombs going off, people dying, smoke everywhere. It was madness. I can distinctly remember the feel of it all, the smell of burnt flesh, smoke, the sounds of gunfire, the smell of gunpowder. The feel of the gun in my hands.
I remember...watching these two blokes. They were Caucasian too, though I can distinctly remember they spoke a language other than English. I can remember holding up my gun, staring through the scope at them. My perch was up high, on some sort of bombed out ledge. Then I shot at them.
Now, this is where things started getting weird. I don't know whether its the fact I play a lot of shooters or something else, but I remember hitting one of them and watching a chunk of his health bar disappear. He had a health bar. And so did his buddy, the red bar suddenly appearing above his head. The two of them then whirled around and started shooting back! I could feel the thumps of bullets hitting me, and my vision getting really red around the edges.
Sounds like I'm describing a video game right? Like Call of Duty: World at War or something.
Anyways!
I remember firing back for a while, before the ammo in my rifle ran out. I had to abandon the rifle and then abandoning my perch. The Thompson was in my hands, suddenly, as I ran down into the still-burning ruins of the building I was in. I ran outside and caught sight of the two round a corner. With gun in hand, I ran out, spraying them with lead. I could see the red of their health bars going down and down and down until they both ran out. The two of them collapsed, apparently dead. I ran over to their corpses and took their dogtags.
Then I got hit bad. Boom, the gunshot came a split second later. Sniper. Apparently I had taken a hell of a hit, because I remember my vison suddenly growing black as I sank to my knees, then collapsed as blackness engulfed me.
Then I woke up.
True story. I have really weird dreams sometimes.

Welp, new entry in Marble Hornets. I didn't expect the hooded guy to reappear again.
Ugh, so bored. I really don't know what to do right now. School is getting boring. Having no games is getting boring. I really don't know what to do right now.
Well, at least I have my music, my sketchbooks, my pencils and such. But only during my free time. Otherwise, its just boredom city. Ugh.

Happy Birthday to Me
I turn 20 today. ADULTHOOD HO
In any case, another weird phenomena that's been going on: my MP3 player's been weirding out on me lately. Sometimes I hear whispers in the quiet bits of my favorite songs, other times I find that my player has songs in it that I don't remember being there.
The phantom songs? All from my own library, so hey, its all good. Maybe Slendy's helping me reorganise my music? If so, thanks, big guy! Least I don't have to turn on my desktop to get new songs now~

The flu in general has eased off now. I'm still sick, down with a cough and general throat infection, but that's going away too.
I'm getting better, hooray~
Anyway, short update is short, nothing much else to say, so ciao!

Oooh I don't feel so good
Got a self-diagnosed fever, along with my dry cough and sore throat.
Things aren't looking too good for me.
Something scares me, though. I looked up the symptoms of tuberculosis, a disease of which I was in contact with last week at the Communicable Disease Center here, or CDC. The general symptoms of it are eeriely similar to the symptoms I have. Fever, chills, cough. I know that I'm making many dead nurses roll around in their graves by self-diagnosing myself like this, but hey. Its good practice for when I'll be a nurse out in the hospitals. This isn't a random guess, its a preliminary diagnosis, which is kinda like a guess, but has some weight behind it.
Another disease I may or may not have is MRSA, or methicillin-resistant staphylococcus aurous. Its a superbug that is immune to most methicillin antibiotics. Commonly found in hospitals anf the CDC, which is where I went last week. Again, same symptoms: fever, general unwell feeling, chills. And I am scared even more.
I really, really don't want to get badly ill so early into school. I'll keep you guys updated.

Another short update
Well, here I am again, in school this time, writing a blog post from my school's library.
I don't know how long my peace is going to last, but I bet its not going to last so soon.
Recently, I managed to contract a sore throat. That went away just this Monday, but got replaced by a scratchy throat and a minor cough.
Now, I don't know whether if I caught this from my brief attachment at the Communicable Diseases Centre or if its from...you know, but I know that if this keeps up for another week, I am either screwed physically or screwed mentally.
All I can say now is that I am scared. Scared that, if its from the CDC, I might have gotten something bad like tubercolosis or something. Scared that, if its NOT from the CDC, my life is gonna get a whole lot worse.
A whole. Lot. Worse.

Regular updates ho!
So I just watched Entry #57 of Marble Hornets yesterday. Seems they're focusing on poor Tim a lot more now. Good ol' video tearing, audio distortion and weird images, ho!
And anyways, I also did a bit of reading into the mythos yesterday. Not just Slendy, but the Fears too. I've started to realise that maybe, just maybe, its not just Slendy that's stalking me.
From what I read on TV Tropes yesterday (FELLOW TROPER HO), one Fear seems to spring to mind: the Nightlanders.
Described as 'the fear of things in the dark', it sorta makes sense that I'd be seeing these things. I used to be morbidly afraid of the dark as a kid. I would never, ever enter a dark area if it weren't lit up like the Fourth of July or without my parents. Nowadays, that's all goood and gone. I just listen to music and relax in the dark, because the darkness is my friend.
No, I'm not a Nightlander. But why would Nightlanders be interested in me? Perhaps, as the article suggests, The Empty City is looking for foods and I'm its next meal. Maybe.
Either that, or there's something more to it than this. I have reason to believe that not all Nightlanders are hostile or antagonistic. There's something about this article that's convincing me that some of these Nightlanders are, or were, real people and that they want to help others to stay away from the Empty City, among other things. Nightlanders = the more neutral beings among the Fears? I'm not one to say, just more empty assumptions.
Maybe the shadows and things I'm seeing out of the corners of my eyes are Nightlanders. Maybe.
Anyways, its high time I skeedaddle for my next class. I'll be back with more updates soon.
SCHOOL HO!

Work
Life's been busy for me. My hospital attachments are still ongoing, though this is my last week. That's why my posts have been so staggered. At least I'm going back to school next week, so that should mean slightly more frequent updates as and when I have things to inform you guys of.
So, short update is short. Been waking up in the middle of the night less times now. The weird visions and shades and such have been increasing in frequency.
I hope its nothing too serious.
I hope.

Shades
So, another brief update, none of it good.
Still getting my rude awakenings in the wee hours of the morning. Nothing new there. The new bit is now, I'm seeing shades.
No, not shades of colour, but real Shades.
No, not sunglasses. SHADES.
As in, shadows that appear out of the corner of my eye and disappear when I turn around. Really weird. Like He's upped the ante on stalking me, but its a mighty small ante.

Skadoosh
Again, another boring lie update.
Things are really going slowly, but they are probably gonna get faste soon, seeing as how I have work again next Monday. More hospital attachments to more local hospitals, whoop-dee-doo~.
I've ben...coping with stress and stuff. Mostly over my granddaddy's passing, a bit concerning smaller conflicts betwen some of my friends. I've been helping my friends cope with the stresses, but its been taking its toll on mme too. I haven't been getting any lack of sleep, but recently I have been getting very tired even though I've been sleeping at least 6 hours. I don't know why though, and its ben noticed by some of my friends too.
At least, I don't connect it to the recent span of weirdness that I've been under. Well, not yet anyway. I don't think my sleepiness has anything to do with...Him, but by jove if it is or if its not, I don't care. I have sugary drinks, drawing and music to get my mind and body awake again.
Anyways, I think that's the end of this update. I'll get around to posting another real soon, dear readers (both real and invisible: yes I can see you hovering around my blog but not actually following it if you have a Google account :P). See you then.

Life Updates, Episode II
So, I'vr been busy these past three weeks. The course I'me studying in (a Diploma in nursing studies) has these compulsory hospital workdayes for us students to get worke experiemce before we graduate and start work in hospitals proper. And as such, I've been slogging it out in a hospital mear my home for the past three weeks, working in a ward, helpyng the staff take care of patients and whatnot.
Besides that, I've been keeping to myself, mostly, thus the odd pause between my blog updates. But since I have a week's breaks ahead of me, I guess i can get in some timelier updates and such. Maybe even with a song recommendation or two to fill inn the time.
Otherwise, its mostly games and work for me. sadly, today is my last day in this hospital as a student nurse. Supposed to be tomorrow, but seeing as how tomorrow is Good Friday...yeah. Hooray for public holidays! :3
And to round off this update with something worse, I've still been waking up in the wee hours of the morning for no reason. And what's worse is that now I seem to be seeing things, mostly wee things like a spectre out of the corner of my eye, or an object lying around where its not supposed to be. If it is His Royal Tentacle-y-ness messing with me, I guess he's taking his own sweet time with trying to drive me insane. And its not really working, seeing as how I always counter his machinations with comforting thoughts. Or loud music.

Hmmm
I don't have much to say. Nothing much has been happening recently. I've been keeping up with friends, and playing games on me PC.
The nights without sleep are still there, just not as regular as before. I still wake up in the middle of the night, sometimes in a cold sweat, sometimes not. And there will always be that weird feeling of someone watching me.
Not much else to say, so I guess I'll end off this brief update here.

More life updates
Again, a brief sojourn from my daily life to post here on my blog, to vent, maybe.
Firstly, my grandad's passed away. He died from his ill health, from which he has been suffering from a long time. Diabetes, hypertension and what not. He passed peacefully in his sleep. Me, the family and some relatives attended the funeral and subsequent cremation ceremonies. Many tears were shed. I'm still hurting over the loss.
Secondly, and on a lighter note, my exams are finally over, which probably means I can start getting blog posts out with an increased frequency. :D
I think tha-
Wait, no. Hell no.
You know how I've been waking up in the middle of the night for no reason these past few days? Well, now I'm waking up in the middle of the night AND in a cold sweat to boot. Once or twice it was mainly because of this dreadful Singapore weather and the fact that I get bitten by mosquitoes for no discernible reason. But the others, I'll still wake up anyway, with cold sweat and all, and with that same odd feeling.
Hmm.

Rocks Fall, Everyone Dies
So, anyways, things in my life just got a little bit worse.
My granddad fell last week. He's pretty damn old, so when he fell, he fractured his hip. And some time ago, he got hit by a bicycle and fractured his right femur. So yeah, those two combined is going to make walking for him a bitch. Doesn't help that he also has dementia. He's in hospital, along with my grandma, who's in for some liver trouble.
Secondly, lately I've been waking up in the middle of the night for no damn reason. Sometimes I wake up at 2, 3AM, other times I wake up at 4AM. But one thing doesn't change: I get this weird feeling that someone is watching me. Yet when I search about my room with the bright backlight of my iPod Touch, I see no one. I've been losing a lot of sleep lately because of that, cause it takes me at least half an hour to go back to sleep.
Hopefully its not who I think it is that's destroying my sleep.

This is my United States of Whatever
So, another small life update.
Things have been going rather slow as of late. My grandma's still in hospital, though she's all fine and dandy and enjoying the hospital food, apparently. My school year's coming to a close, so whoop-dee-doo there.
In other news, I'm pretty bored, so I might do some reading into more of the Slendy mythos later.

The Wonders of the Arts
So recently I played this flash game on Kongregate called Musaic Box. Its a wonderful music-based puzzle and hidden object game. Very lovely music choices, some old children's tunes and some classical pieces that I haven't heard in a long time.
Linky to the game in question: http://www.kongregate.com/games/Badim/musaic-box
Case in point: One of the songs used in that game was Symphony No. 40 by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. A fine classical piece that I'm listening to as I'm typing out this post.
To those that haven't heard this piece before, the link to this fine piece of music is down below.
I've taken a liking towards classical pieces now, alongside all the rest of the modern and pre-2000s music that I listen to.
Anyways, updates on life and in general:
- School year's finally coming to a close. Two more years and I'll be out of school with a diploma in nursing. Hopefully.
- Life's been a bit worrying. My grandma's been hospitalised after she was diagnosed with hepatitis B attacking her liver cells. I'm quite worried for her.
- Otherwise, life's been normal. His Royal Highness with long spindly thingies and an affinity for trees and water hasn't shown up yet, despite the amount of interest I have in his little case. Ah well, at least he hasn't noticed yet. Right?

Song of the Day: Fireflies by Owl City
A cute, refreshing and relaxing tune from Owl City. Talk about letting your imagination carry you places~.
I love this song because it reminds me that the world we live in is a beautiful place if you explore around.

Back Again
So, after not using this blog for, like, six months, here I am, back again, ushering in the new year alone with my family.
Things these past few months have been pretty normal, really. Nothing happened that was of big interest to you followers (and my make-believe followers @-@). A sum up of my days since last year:
- School went on as per normal. My grades were stellar for my first year. (Huzzah!)
- In October last year I went to Siem Reap (which is in Cambodia) for four days with my folks. Had a great time there, might post some photos I took up here.
- Got myself Modern Warfare 3 and Skyrim on my PC to keep myself occupied while school and studies drain my energies away, slooooowly.
Oh, and I started watching Marble Hornets again, wonderful. I would be speeding through the entries, but then I took an arrow to the - NO.
